Spiders on the Increase This Year – Need for More Spider Control
The spider population this year is booming in all parts of the country. Most pest control companies say it is because of the extreme amount of moisture and then the intense heat, sending the spiders inside the home. Residential pest control services and spiders elimination go hand and hand.
There has been many incidents of various spider problems all around the country. For example up in PA they are having a brown recluse spider problem. They are saying that this one is rare since these spiders are not from that part of the country. For more residential pest control articles, click the link.
They say that they hitched a ride up to PA thru some shipping of products and they got in the cardboard and now they have overtaken a school right before it opens. But the local pest control company up there have the situation under control.
We just had to set the record straight after skeptics in the entomology world questioned whether the culprit in the case involving Montgomery Elementary School in the Tuscarora School District was in fact the brown recluse. The species, while most often picked out in the line-up of suspects, just happens to be rare in Pennsylvania.
Nancy Troyano, a medical entomologist with Ehrlich Pest Control (the very company contracted by the school district to eradicate the offending spiders) says her pet peeve (her words, not ours) is the propensity for people to misidentify the spider and malign its already beleaguered reputation.
Then in Dallas there are spiders there that have built a mega-web. This mega-web is one that is built by thousands of spiders to create 40 feet high and 100 yards long web. Now that is a spider web.
“So this web was discovered in late July by just somebody driving down the street and it’s over close to lake Ray Roberts in Rowlett and it’s just kind of an unusual phenomena, we don’t normally see spiders working together to make a web and in this case, somebody just noticed hey there’s a lot of white stuff all over those trees, what is it?” Credits: Mass Of Spiders In Dallas Build Incredibly Rare Mega-Web – KERA News
Another case of the need for spider extermination is this one in OK, where they are seeing more and more spiders moving to the inside of the home. Again the reason stated is because of the extreme moisture and then the heat.
With the increase of all the other insects moving inside is just a feeding ground for the spiders and that makes more spiders since the food supply is good.
The experts are saying that the bugs moved into the home first to escape the flooding. Like i mentioned all those extra bugs is a great food source for spiders and the need for pest control for spiders and also the need for spider removal.
Even though most of those spiders are harmless to humans and can kill those extra bugs, Shawn Dickenson with A+ Pest Control in Edmond said he has already had two customers call him after they were bitten by poisonous spiders in their sleep.
